Lovenotes Summer Workshop & Concert, Old Trafford, June 18th

We've been promising for years to put on a summer workshop and concert, along the lines of our well-established and well-loved annual (Covid allowing!) Christmas extravaganza. Finally, this year, we shall be offering just this at our much-loved local venue: St John's Community Centre, Old Trafford. (Not the church, just the centre).

For full info and tickets click here

NB. We're restricting numbers to help people keep safe and comfortable. If you want to be sure that you have a place, you need to book a ticket online. You can buy tickets on the door if there are still some available.

It's beginning to look a lot like... oh hang on a minute... we're going to have to think of some more summery strap lines...

Christmas with The Lovenotes 2021 - LIVE in Manchester

We are delighted to be able to welcome a live audience again this year for our festive feast of acapella loveliness - we missed you last year!
Our wonderful Helen Watson is joining us again all the way from Essex, and we've got a really special show planned for you this year.

Get your tickets here:

Facebook event page:

We are not doing a workshop this year, but you will still receive complimentary mulled wine and mince pie when you arrive. Yum :)

COVID SAFETY - We are halving audience numbers this year to allow for distancing in the audience, and we would ask that you wear a mask when arriving if possible. We will also be doing lateral flow tests before the event and would appreciate it if audience members would do the same.

£10 (standard)
£8 (concession)
£1 (Subsidised)
Once again to reflect the uncertain times that are still present for some as a result of the pandemic, we have included a £1 ticket price for those whose finances have been hit particularly hard and would otherwise not be able to attend. We trust that everyone will respect this and only use this lowest ticket price if they cannot afford the other prices.
Whilst the performance isn't aimed at children, they're very welcome to come along. No charge for under 12s.

Thank you and enjoy the show!

Christmas ONLINE with the Lovenotes 2020

Twas the night before Christmas...
We've had such a lot of fun preparing for this online gig!! Mostly, of course, it's just been such a relief and so wonderful to sing together in the same room... albeit distanced in a huge church!!

We've worked with fabulous sound and video technicians (Helen Beauchamp and Casey Nimmer) to bring you something as close as possible to the feel of our annual Christmas 'tour' (we call anything over 1 gig a tour!).

Wherever you are in the world, you can join us on:
Sunday 20th December at 7pm or
Thursday 24th December at 6pm and we encourage you to use the chat function on the YouTube premiere so you can say hello and make comments as we go along - we'll be there chatting back at you!!

Delight in the sound of harmonies being sung (mostly) in the same room! Marvel at the costume and set changes! Join in the songs! And lose count of the number of continuity errors! (we're new to this lark, after all!)

Full Price: £8.00 (plus 40p booking fee)
Concession: £6.00 (plus 30p booking fee)
Subsidised Price: £1.00 (plus 5p booking fee) for people who've been badly hit by the pandemic and otherwise wouldn't be able to access the gig.

NB. Prices are per person not per household. Please buy a ticket for everyone (over 12) who's watching, as you would at a live concert.
