In the spring of 2006 The Lovenotes invited the fabulous Jazz / Blues singer, Helen Watson to sing with them. Helen was fresh from a jazz band tour but jumped at the chance of singing acapella. From the start it was obvious that the combination of Helen's free-flowing improvisational style sat perfectly with the close, carefully wrought and tightly delivered arrangements of The Lovenotes. Since then Helen Watson and the Lovenotes together have gone from strength to strength, performing to enthusiastic audiences at concerts and festivals and recording cds.
